Responsibilities
It's time to CLAIM your internship! Our Property & Casualty Claims Department is looking for students who are completing their sophomore, junior and senior year with an anticipated graduation of December 2025, May 2026 or May 2027. There is potential for this internship to be for two summers.
As an intern you will:
- Gain insight to a variety of different areas within claims and learn about other insurance operation
- Learn claim handling processes such as investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and policy application
- Side-by-side with our claims teams as they review medical, property, liability and injury related issues in claim handling.
- Interacting with witnesses, agents, other insurance companies, repair shops, contractors, medical providers, attorneys.
- Engage in our mentorship program and interact with senior leadership.
- Participate in volunteer opportunities to get involved and give back to the community.
Qualifications
We Are Looking For The Following:
• Majors in Business, Risk Management/Insurance, Psychology, Criminal Justice; however, would consider other majors that align with our Claims business need.
• Solid teamwork, critical thinking and decision making, effective communication, attention to detail and strong customer orientation.
Internship Program Eligibility:
- Students who apply MUST be returning to school for at least one semester following the
summer internship. - Selected interns must reside within the continental U.S. for the duration of the summer i
internship.

What You Can Expect:
- Summer Internship Dates: May 19, 2025 – August 1, 2025
- Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, 38.75 hours per week
- As the summer program has a short duration, it is expected that hired interns will be available throughout the entire summer internship with minimal to no disruptions in their work schedule.
- Pay: $22.00 per hour. In addition, interns selected for our summer internship program will be eligible for a $2,000 stipend!
Work Arrangement:
- Hybrid - Selected interns should plan to spend time working from home and some time working in the office as part of our hybrid work environment. Please note that relocation benefits will not apply.
Hub Location(s): Dunwoody, GA.
