Advanced Experion PKS Client-Server Application Engr

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver superior customer satisfaction with the HPS Technical Support response, communication, and resolution of customer cases for the HPS System and Infrastructure line of business. The GTAC engineer works in a global team, providing support for a defined set of products/technologies. Works closely with peer colleagues globally to solve technical problems. Visit customer locations may be required for critical site investigations.

Key Responsibilities

• Ability to deliver remote support & services effectively.
• Ability to execute GTAC and other standard audit checklists.
• Proactively manage and respond to customer questions, issues, and input accurately and within Service Level Agreement timing.
• Maintain strong case documentation and follow-up to ensure that technical recommendations effectively resolve customer issues.
• Support Honeywell affiliates by participating in meetings with customers.
• Keep technically current with the broad HPS product/systems portfolio, while maintaining expert knowledge on the Experion Controller product line.
• Actively share knowledge and new findings with other team members through periodic creation of knowledge articles.
• Ability to support through the follow the sun.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• 6+ years' experience in DCS systems engineering, operations, or services support functions within the Industrial automation industry.

• Respond to the high volume of customer inquiries in an efficient and accurate manner, meeting or exceeding the published SLA (Service Level Agreement) for Response and Resolution.
• Maintain proactive and timely communications, providing frequent and informative customer updates.
• 6 - 10 years of experience with Experion PKS Client\Server family (EST, ESVT, ESC, FLEX, etc.) and related architecture, such us:
  • EPKS Client and Server nodes configuration and troubleshooting (ESF, ESC, EST, ESV, ESVT, EAS, EAPP)
  • Knowledge on EPKS Server databases
  • Server Redundancy
  • FTE Integration and best practices
  • Experion Migrations
  • Services tools (Trace, Enabled Services, IAA, SPB, SIT)
  • DSA
  • SafeView
  • HMI Web and HMI Web Solution pack
  • Server scripting
  • TPS, SCADA, and CDA integration
  • ODBC
  • Orion, OTP, Thin Client
  • OPC connectivity
