Our luxury apparel client is looking for an Associate Art Director to join their creative team full time out of Raleigh, NC. This is a fully on-site position (5x weekly) that may require some travel. The Associate Art Director will be responsible for concepting, directing and executing creative assets for their seasonal E-commerce photoshoots.
The Associate Art Director will:
- Direct on-set E-commerce photoshoots and imagery from start to finish, including prep, on-set and post-production
- Work alongside the Senior Art Director with concepts, story boards, shot-lists, on-set art direction, photo editing and image reviews
- Design printed and digital seasonal line mailers, catalogs and line books
- Ensure all visual content aligns with brand guidelines and is consistent with overall brand aesthetics
- Build shot lists and communication shoot direction and needs to production team, stylists and photographers
- Partner with Senior Art Director on set designs, lighting, hair and makeup direction and model selection
Requirements:
- 5+ years in the creative field, with at least 3 years of on-set experience
- Must have E-commerce art direction experience as well as strong graphic design knowledge, proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
- Have a strong knowledge of current trends in photography, lighting, fashion, typography and layout design
- Video direction is a plus
- Experience in the fashion industry is a plus
- BA or BFA preferred in Arts, Fine Arts or Graphic Design
