40Summary:
As a Behavior Technician /Program Specialist (ABA), you will work one-on-one with autistic children providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy which includes developing social skills, toilet training, grooming & hygiene, managing problem behaviors, and treatment of picky eating. Receive ongoing supervision and immediate assistance from our team of behavior analysts. The Behavior Technician also participates in data collection, training, and team collaboration. Training is provided to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Our Child Study Center is comprised of two clinical programs: Autism Services (long-term comprehensive treatment), and Behavior Disorders Clinic (short-term focused treatment).
Hours: Monday - Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm.
No nights; no weekends. Off for Spring/Summer breaks, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Breaks.
Required Education & Experience:
High school Diploma.
Experience working with children in a daycare, school, or clinic setting is preferred.
Previous experience working with autistic or at-risk children is preferred.
Certifications due upon hire (all training provided):
Must become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) within 90 days of hire (all training is provided).
CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - Units 1-7 & 9-10 plus the CPI Children's Control Position from Unit 8 or must be completed within 60 days of start date.
CSC- Heartsaver CPR and CSC SCM training must be completed within 60 days of start date.
