Responsibilities / Tasks
Data-Driven Growth Strategy Development:
- Coordinate, plan, and execute division-wide strategies focused on revenue growth and positive customer experiences, using data analytics and insights to guide decision-making.
- Identify key growth areas including markets, applications, products, channels, and strategic partners by analyzing industry trends and performance metrics.
Market & Competitive Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth industry research and competitor analysis to create data-backed sales solutions and optimize positioning.
- Develop an understanding of relevant analytics and competitive metrics, using insights to inform strategic positioning and revenue growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with finance, marketing, and product teams to define growth strategies and market needs, using data to provide accurate forecasts, budgets, and targets.
- Collaborate with sales teams on data-driven targeted campaigns, lead generation, and prospect nurturing to maximize market reach and optimize sales funnels.
Customer-Centric Strategy & Market Expansion:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs, identifying any gaps in our product portfolio or sales approach to enhance our offerings.
- Represent SFT at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote the brand and build relationships with key stakeholders.
Contract and CRM Management:
- Ensure all sales contracts comply with corporate and legal standards, overseeing CRM system development, analysis, and reporting for data consistency and performance tracking.
Marketing & Digital Strategy Execution:
- Use data analytics to support the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, brand positioning, and social media strategies to drive customer engagement.
- Manage the planning, execution, and measurement of marketing events and campaigns, ensuring alignment with division goals and using metrics to refine strategies.
Field Sales Team Support & Coaching:
- Coach and support sales teams in generating pre-qualified leads and using data insights to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
- Evaluate potential customers' suitability for SFT's strategies, using a data-driven approach to make decisions on commercial engagement opportunities.
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or Finance, marketing is required
- MBA preferred.
Professional Knowledge and Experiences
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in business development, sales, or a related role with a proven track record in achieving growth targets.
- Experience in leading process changes and navigating matrixed organizations.
- Background in product/business management or marketing principles and tools.
Technical Skills:
- Strong market analysis and competitive strategy capabilities.
- Financial and budget management proficiency.
- Project management expertise and CRM skills.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.
- Strong negotiation, networking, and customer relationship management abilities.
- Effective multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Travel 50% - 75% for the first 12 - 18 months. 50% - 60% there after, depending on business needs. This role will be required to be in the office 1-2 weeks a month.
