CASE MANAGERS, SPECIALISTS AND COUNSELORS (NON-RESIDENTIAL)
Case Managers provide an integrative approach to coordinating the care of theirclients. Working with a defined caseload, case managers partner with the clientto devise a treatment plan to meet their individual goals and objectives towardimproving their lives. The heart of social work beats in the chest of everyMcNabb Case Manager and is the backbone of the organization, living out ourmission of "Improving the lives of the people we serve" on a day-to-day basis.
Examples of casemanagers include HealthLink Care Coordinators, Safety Net Case Managers,Building Stable Lives Case Managers, CTT Case Managers, and several others.
Specialists andCounselors provide information and referral, agencylinkage, advocacy, home visits and follow-up services as defined by theindividualized goals of program participants. This includes a range ofservices from employment support, child development, family support, HIVeducation and wraparound support, child abuse prevention, juvenile justicereform and more.
Examples of Specialistsand Counseling positions are OnTrack Peer Support Specialist, TMI Peer RecoverySpecialist and Child Development Specialists.
An F-endorsement isrequired as many of the case management, specialist and counselor positionsprovide transportation as necessary.
Starting salary rangesfrom $15.93-$20.05 / hour depending on position, education and relevantexperience. Caseload and frequency of contact vary based on client needs andacuity, program focus, and population served. These factors as well as travelrequirements and on-call expectation determine salary.
MENTALHEALTH TECHS
Mental Health Techs are based in our Supportive Housinglocations that utilize round-the-clock staff. Work schedules are shift-based and require evenings,overnights, weekends, and holidays. Shiftdifferential supplemental pay is available for 2nd and 3rdshift in our Supportive Housing locations. Mental Health Techs serve in a direct care role thatinvolves supervising/monitoring clients in an inpatient or residential setting,performing intakes, inventorying belongings, performing safety checks,facilitating psychoeducational groups, and providing a supportive environmentfor the clients. Mental Health Techs also transport clients to and from thedifferent appointments and activities, so an F-endorsement is required.
Starting salary for a bachelor's level clinician in SupportiveHousing is $17.19/hour (Full time) and $16/hour (PRN/Part-time). Clientpopulation and acuity as well as position, education and relevant experiencedetermine salary. HS positions also available (see HS positions post).
LEADERSHIP/SUPERVISORY POSITIONS
Team Leader and Program Coordinator positions areavailable for many of our programs. Make sure to identify any supervision orleadership experience you have in your resume to highlight that experience.
