This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast's top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview
Works directly with the West Division Reporting and Analytics Team. This includes working with and supporting the Comcast WD SLT, Comcast Construction, Business, GIS and Operations teams. Our innovative teams are continually developing and delivering reporting solutions that transform the business and customer experience.
The West Division Reporting Team is a team of four talented and skilled analysts that provide support on existing and new WD reporting viz portal dashboards solutions. This includes business metrics and operation reporting. Additional support may include working with the Comcast SLT and HQ teams on reporting solutions.
Role Description
Looking for individual that is passionate, data driven and highly motivated around data analytics and reporting solutions. This includes bringing ideas, problem solving and working through challenges. This is a great opportunity to be involved with data solutions that have a direct impact on driving Comcast business.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In your role, you will bridge the gap between reporting and operations. Develop scripts and dashboards to automate data collections from all West Division regional operation teams. This includes supporting request through Comcast JIRA ticket system.

Success in this role is characterized by helping our business drive time to construction and increased passing goals through reporting solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supporting West Division reporting request through ticket system
- Supporting and maintaining existing reporting dashboards and viz portal data
- Script maintenance and ensuring daily data refresh goals are met
- Provides research and assistance to leadership in the development and design of new reporting solutions.
- Other duties may include leading calls and meetings to promote business reporting success
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Expert in SQL / SQL Query
- Expert in SQL Database maintenance
- Expert in Tableau reporting
- Expert in Python development
- Expert in Excel/pivot tables
- Problem solving and Data Analytics experience
- Viz Portal Maintenance and management
- Data script Management
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university
- Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
- Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
- Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Salary:
Base Pay: $24.00
