This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast's top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview
The West Division Project Management Office (PMO) runs strategic projects and programs impactful to the division. We partner with leaders in all division departments, determine strategic priorities, then execute projects through to completion. In addition, we maintain relationships with leaders in the Central and Northeast divisions, and headquarters, to influence national initiatives and ensure division leaders are engaged with national priorities.
The West Division PMO currently has 21 project managers and leaders separated into 3 teams. Those 3 teams focus on specific sets of departments within the division to cultivate strong partnerships and build business acumen amongst our project and program managers.
Role Description
Responsible for providing administrative support for the Project Management function. Ensures timely and cost-effective completion of administrative details with the ability to coordinate diverse tasks requiring exceptional organizational skills. Works with moderate supervision/guidance. Is accountable for individual results and impact on team.
As a Project Coordinator, you will assist project managers execute projects by working closely with them, learning the project management methodology, familiarization with the common functions of a PMO, and owning and executing specific aspects a project. A Project Coordinator supports the PMO by ensuring the smooth execution of projects.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
Learning how Comcast utilizes project managers, how to work with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment, learning project management tools and processes, creating templates, ingesting large amounts of data and creating executive summaries.

Part of a fast-paced team specializing in agility, customer experience, and growth mindsets. By asking curious questions, looking for missed opportunities, and showing aptitude to operate with minimal supervision, this person will have the opportunity to be involved in planning and executing strategic projects while strengthening the PMO organization as a whole.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Base Pay: $22.00
