Job Title: FULL-TIME COMMUNITY PROPERTY MANAGER IN KINGSVILLE, TEXAS

Job Description:
The Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of residential properties managed by Kingsville Affordable Housing.  This includes ensuring property maintenance, managing tenant relations, overseeing leasing and rent collection, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations. The Property Manager will also manage budgets, coordinate property inspections, and supervise maintenance staff to maintain safe, well-maintained living environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily property operations, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance coordination.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing concerns and enforcing property policies.
  • Oversee leasing process, maintain accurate tenant records, and ensure timely rent collection.
  • Develop and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and prepare financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, HUD, and other relevant regulations.
  • Supervise property maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Respond to emergencies and implement emergency response plans as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Managerial skills
  • Proficiency in Data entry and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum of 1-year property management/housing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws, HUD regulations, and property management best practices preferred.
  • Certified Property Manager (CPM) or similar certifications preferred.
