Out client, an Accounts Payable SaaS company, is seeking a fulltime Content Marketing Specialist to join their team. This role will be primarily remote but requires someone located in / near Saint Louis to occasionally go into the office, at least 1-2 times per quarter.
The Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for implementing the content strategy by writing, producing, and editing content to be used across the full spectrum of marketing communications and digital media. You will also assist with some general marketing projects.
To be considered for this role, you must have excellent writing and editing skills and proven work experience as a Content Writer or Copywriter within a B2B organization. Ideally you will have experience writing content for SaaS companies and enterprise sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with members of the marketing team, management team, and other SMEs to deliver content that creates brand awareness, illustrates their value proposition, and effectively educates clients and prospects.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the brand's solutions and value offered to clients and translate information into marketing content, online demos, and videos.
- Support demand generation activities and boost brand awareness with appropriate content and downloadable content for targeted personas to engage audiences.
- Manage the content curation process including blogs, social media, website resources, and site copy with emphasis on SEO.
- Serve as the content owner for blogs, video scripts, case studies, and brochures.
- Create at least two free resources each month to drive leads, subscribers, awareness and other important metrics.
- Compose company news including press release writing.
- Analyze website metrics.
- Assist the business development / sales teams in composing effective lead nurturing campaigns.
- Maintain all sales support materials (one pagers, case studies, testimonials etc.).
- Develop and execute content marketing strategies that align with business goals.
- Create high-quality written content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and social media posts.
- Distill complex content and language into content that is easily understood.
- Assists the Marketing team with basic design work for banner ads, one-pagers iconography, social media posts, eBooks, infographics, and solution set brochures.
- Assists Marketing team with video production of explainer videos and case studies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong portfolio of published content.
- Proven experience in B2B content marketing or a similar role.
- Experience with basic content design.
- Experience with SEO required
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and WordPress.
- Experience in the technology or SaaS industries is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
