Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a(n) Drop Ship Associate

Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Remote (Vernon Hills, IL- Remote but if there's an ability to come into the office for an occasional meeting, that's always great (from HM)!)

As a(n) Drop Ship Associate you will:

Job Description:

The Drop Ship department is responsible for processing all orders that will be shipping from either the manufacturer or distributor directly to the end user, bypassing warehouses.
The Drop Ship Associate is responsible for working closely with our vendor partners and our customers in ensuring that all purchase orders are processed in a timely manner and billed correctly to client.
This role is a buyer on the Drop Ship team who buys products for specific lines, providing product requirement guidance to Sales, and follows through with the fulfillment of each purchase.

Requirements:

Review and analyze purchase orders for the assigned product lines.
Qualify or reject with detailed directions all purchase orders.
Establish and maintain internal and external partner relationships.
Work with partners and Sales to make necessary changes to purchase orders to fulfill customer needs in a timely manner.
Explain important internal processes to our vendor partners and Account Managers.
Continually update the status of aging purchase orders, follow up with partners for information on scheduled shipments.
Maintain part number information within database, updating pricing and any additional product line instructions that need to be provided to Sales.
Responsible for flow of information from our partners .
Follow established procedures on daily work requirements and responsibilities.
Utilize all new process improvement resources.
Keep current of departmental policies and product lines to ensure drop ship purchase orders are processed correctly.
Work with management on approving any exceptions that fall outside of departmental guidelines.
Seek assistance from Senior Specialist and Supervisor to resolve more complex issues to determine next step of action.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel

Education: College Degree Preferred

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $20 - $23 per hour>
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
