Starting wage: $23.55

Position Summary

Operate press brakes - both mechanical and hydraulic, perform setups, read drawings, operate bandsaw, work with close tolerances on parts. Ability use various hand tools, grinders, hammers, clamps, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints
  • Must have heavy brake press experience
  • Must have experience of mechanical and hydraulic machine set up
  • Basic knowledge using manufacturing instructions to form parts
  • Must be willing and able to work any shift
  • Must be able to demonstrate skills

Preferred

  • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing fabrication or sheet metal fabrication

Functional Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand complex blueprints/scales/third angle projections
  • Understand math functions including simple math, decimals and fractions
  • Repeated bending
  • Exposure to constant noise 90 DBA
  • Exposure to fumes/smoke from burning, paint vapors, and dust
  • Prolonged walking/standing
  • Heavy lifting 45+ lbs
  • Must be willing to work in tobacco-free environment
  • Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions
