Location:Hybrid onsite in Doral, FL
Duration: 6-12 month contract
Rate Range:$50 per hour
Position Overview:
?Our client is looking for a Business Analyst that has experience managing projects related to financial/payment applications. These financial applications/systems can be anything from POS machines (they use Oracle Micros), onboard applications used for payments in restaurants and stores or more internal applications such as their property management systems (Latitude).
This person will be working specifically on shipboard projects, and will be meeting with the business to understand their processes.
Ideally this BA would be familiar with financial/accounting projects and what different departments are responsible for - purchasing, revenue, treasury, accounting, finance
Requirements:
1.5+ years of Business Analyst Experience - experience working on projects from discovery to deployment
2.Experience managing Financial/Accounting projects from discovery to deployment
3. Experience building roadmaps (they use Azure)
4. Go getter, good communication, independent, shows initiative, etc
Preferred Experience:
- Cruiseline/Shipboard experience
- Oracle
- Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for project business requirements; develop business cases.
- Participate in meetings to understand business requirements to enhance systems. Help with project estimating.
- Perform and/or oversee testing activities related to financial software used in the department to ensure new system functionality works as defined and system defects are corrected prior to implementation.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical requirements and specifications, contributing to system architectural design and development.
- Assist in defining the business problem and the business solution in line with appropriate best practice, governance standards and methodologies.
- Develop and execute test cases to validate that system changes meet the specified requirements. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support to end-users during testing phases.
- Document and track issues, working with technical teams to resolve bugs and defects.
- Maintain up-to-date system documentation, including user guides, technical manuals, and process workflows. Develop and deliver training materials to support end-users and ensure successful adoption of system changes.
