We are seeking a junior or masters-level students majoring in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field for a 12-Week Student Intern role in Gaithersburg, MD for a May 19th - August 8th contract period.
Position Duties:
The individual will be responsible for regularly performing experiments in the laboratory and analyzing the resulting data.
They will also be expected to attend regular meetings and review relevant scientific literature.
Summarize and present their findings from their project with both a poster and PowerPoint presentation.
Position Requirements:
Junior or masters-level* students majoring in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. Students with graduate-level course experience are preferred.
**Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2025.
Competency with basic laboratory techniques such as preparing buffers, measuring Osmolality, pH, protein concentration, subvisible particles, etc. is required
Microsoft Office applications experience (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required
JMP and PowerBI experience is preferred
Enthusiasm for collaboration, cross-functional projects, public speaking, and presentation design.
US Work Authorization is required at time of application.
This role will not be providing OPT support.
Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD 4-5 days a week. This role will not provide relocation assistance.
Minimum grade point average of 3.0
