Internship Program
Immerse yourself in the world of Tiffany through our U.S. Summer Internship Program. As part of our esteemed Summer 2025 Class, you will embark on an unforgettable ten-week journey that begins with an exclusive two-day orientation in New York City — the birthplace of Tiffany & Co. During the ten weeks, you will delve into the dynamic world of luxury jewelry through on-the-job learning, exploration of the intricate facets of our business, and networking opportunities with Tiffany leaders and fellow interns alike. Dates: The internship will run from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025. Selected interns are expected to be available for work for the entire 10-week program.
Location: This position will be based out of our Tiffany Service Center in Queens, NY.
Salary: Compensation for this internship will be $25 per hour.
The Tiffany & Co. Craft Intern will learn and complete craft processes across multiple disciplines, including jewelry servicing, personalization, bead stringing, and others. The Intern will work with all precious metals, including platinum, gold, and silver as well as gemstones. They are expected to learn standard jewelry and other craft techniques including sawing, drilling, filing, soldering, laser welding, gluing, finishing, etc.
The Intern will understand workshop safety and ensures risks are minimized.
The Intern will participate in projects such as developing training materials, researching equipment, technology, and techniques, etc.
Key Accountabilities:
Perform craft work, aligned with their abilities, according to Tiffany & Co. standards.
- Quality – Complete all craft work according to Tiffany quality and design standards; read, understand, and follow written repair instructions and seek clarification when needed; inspect all assigned orders for additional defects and note, repair, or escalate as appropriate.
- Productivity – Improve productivity through the life of the internship.
- Organization – Maintain workstation and assigned work in an organized fashion.
Knowledge and development:
- Develop a working knowledge of Tiffany & Co. products including designers, collections, materials, methods of manufacture and repair techniques.
- Proactively seek and apply new skills and techniques that result in quality, safety, or productivity improvements.
- Assist as needed throughout Repair Services, assist administration with workflow management and manage special projects.
Occupational health and safety:
- Comply with all health and safety requirements including personal protective equipment, hazardous material handling and disposal, machine guarding, ergonomics, etc.
- Maintain a safe workstation free from risks. Immediately report any safety incidents, including "near misses", to management
- Contribute to the safe and efficient operation of the workshop; assist in cleaning and maintaining common areas and equipment; report any worn, broken, or unsafe tools, equipment, and supplies; identify and report any gaps in workshop infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in BA/BS degree
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact effectively with management
- Self-motivation with a strong drive for achievement
Preferred Qualifications
- Craft experience
- Experience with data analysis apps e.g., SAP
