Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Network Engineer to join our team in a hybrid contract-to-hire position based in Bentonville, AR. The ideal candidate will have experience in data center and cloud environments, with a strong focus on monitoring and reactive support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor Alerts:Respond to alerts via Slack and manage tickets through ServiceNow.
- Reactive Support:Address issues as they arise without the need to configure monitoring systems.
- Team Leadership:Provide day-to-day supervision and support to the team.
- Coordination:Help coordinate daily activities to ensure smooth operations.
- Queue Management:Ensure the phone queue does not get too high and that emails are promptly answered.
- Network Engineering:Utilize your experience with routers and switches to maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Experience:Proven experience in data center and cloud environments.
- Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of routers and switches.
- Organizational Skills:Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Motivation:Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Leadership:Experience in a supervisory role is preferred.
- Scripting:Basic scripting skills are a plus.
