The Work:
Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) is seeking a Lead Test Engineer in Manassas, Virginia. In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with industry-leading design professionals and contribute to groundbreaking projects. As an Experienced Engineering Professional, your responsibilities will include:
* Mentoring, Training, and qualification of ~15 Test Engineers
* Engage program management, senior leadership, and other external stakeholders as needed
* Create and execute master schedules
* Assess system status and test results and report key metrics to senior leadership'

Basic Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
* Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 14+ years of relevant experience .
*Extensive experience in engineering, particularly in the design and qualification of digital and analog systems.
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire teams of engineers.
*An innovative mindset, capable of finding solutions to complex engineering challenges.
*Commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and a dedication to delivering high-quality results.
*Must experience with Modern Surface Sonar systems from both a functional and data analysis operator perspective as well as an infrastructure an engineering perspective. Specifically, experience on TI20 and newer systems.
*Must be comfortable briefing senior customer leadership on a recurring basis.
Desired Skills:
* Test Automation Experience.
* Knowledge of and fluency of TestRail, Jira and other Agile tools.
* Fleet Experience with ASW as an STG on operational DDG.
* Computer Science degree would be a desirable skill , particularly if matched with Fleet experience.
* Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and fluency in all standard Microsoft Office Products.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
