Full Job Description

Honeywell is a seeking a Level 2 Machinist to play a crucial role in operating and maintaining our machining equipment needed to produce high-quality parts and components.

You will work with a team of skilled technicians and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform Lathe and Mill of materials using a CNC machine.
  • Operate and monitor a CNC machine equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
  • Collaborate with engineers and designers
  • Follow safety protocols
  • Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, refractometers and height gauges
  • Use computers and read blueprints.

LOCATION: Spokane Valley, Washington

2 SHIFTS TO CHOOSE:Option 1: Monday - Wednesday 5:00 pm - 5:00 am & Thursday 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm

OR

Option 2: Thursday - Sunday5:00 am - 3:30 pm

SALARY: The Salary Range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Prior experience as a machinist or similar role
  • Prior experience lathing materials using a CNC machine
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining machining equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to read blueprints

WE VALUE:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience with CNC machining
  • Knowledge of programming and CAD and / or CAM software
