Position type: Full-time Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Location: Manhattan, NY

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $30 - $36/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

As a Patternmaker, you will be:
- Responsible for developing, modify, and grade patterns based on design specifications and prototypes.
- Responsible for using CAD software and traditional methods to create and adjust patterns.
- Responsible for collaborating with designers to understand their vision and translate it into practical patterns.
- Responsible for maintaining pattern library and documentation for reference and future use.
- Responsible for fitting and making necessary adjustments to patterns to ensure proper fit.
- Responsible for ensuring patterns are produced efficiently and meeting production timelines.
- Responsible for assisting in troubleshooting production issues related to patterns.
- Responsible for providing the mini marker to the contract manufacturer for greatest efficiency in layout and material use.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or related field-Preferred.
- Experience of sample patternmaking in the textile industry-Preferred
- Experience of sewing and garment-Preferred
- Knowledge of CAD software (e.g., Gerber, Opti Tex, Lectra) and manual patternmaking techniques. Browzwear 3D software -Preferred
