In order to continue our record growth streak, we need people like YOU to join our team! Are you up for the opportunity of a lifetime? If so, we are seeking a Machine Operator I who will operate specified machine in an efficient and timely manner and ensure orders are completed accurately.
Key Accountabilities:
- Quickly and efficiently ensure machine is stocked with correct components to ensure production levels are maintained.
- Quickly and efficiently feed and pack correct components and assemblies into and out of machine.
- May work individually or as part of an assembly line to complete the process, in which case must communicate with other team members on the production line to ensure speed and accuracy to meet established metrics.
- Accurately record daily production with limited use of company ERP system.
- Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem.
- Maintain an efficient and orderly production room while following all company and facility safety policies, procedures, and guidelines and immediately reporting potentially hazardous situations.
- Support branch metrics to drive customer thrill
- Fulfill the employee portion of the Berlin Values
- Other tasks as required
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Displays manual dexterity and ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to complete tasks and solve problems with high attention to detail
- Demonstrates a strong work ethic and ability to learn
- Has a positive attitude and contributes to a positive team culture
- Self-motivated; reliable, with strong initiative and results orientation
- Models safe work practices
- Is computer literate
Working Environment and Physical Requirements:
Must be able to occasionally lift and move boxes and/or pallets up to 45lbs through warehouse environment.
