As a Machinist - Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in operating and maintaining various machining equipment to produce high-quality parts and components. You will work with a team of skilled technicians and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements. Your expertise in machining processes will be instrumental in ensuring efficient and safe operations while maintaining quality standards.In this role, you will impact the success and efficiency of our manufacturing operations by producing accurate and precise parts that meet customer specifications. You will contribute to the overall quality and productivity of our machining processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Operate and maintain various machining equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine machining operations
* Set up and adjust machine tools and ensure proper alignment and calibration
* Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity
* Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machining equipment and processes
* Collaborate with team members and other departments to optimize production schedules and meet customer demands
* Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.YOU MUST HAVE
* Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Machinist or similar role
* Proficiency in operating and maintaining machining equipment
* Strong knowledge of machining processes and techniques
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
* Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and precise parts
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machine issues
WE VALUE
* Technical degree or certification in machining or related field
* Experience with CNC machining
* Knowledge of programming and operating CNC machines
* Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
