We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manager, Contract Operations and Development to assist with the drafting, redlining, and management of contracts within our Market Access team. This position will report to the Director of Contract Strategy and Operations. As part of the Market Access and Distribution Organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand marketing, payer marketing, national and regional accounts, field reimbursement, channel, finance and legal. This role is fully remote with minimal travel required. EST time zone preferred

Responsibilities:

Contract Drafting and Negotiation

Support the development, redlines, and revision of contracts across Market Access, including with Payors, PBMs/MBMs, Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors, and Infusion Care Sites.

Contract Management

Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation through execution, renewals, amendments and termination.

Maintain a comprehensive database of contracts and report within the team

Regulatory Compliance

Ensure that all contracts comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Work cross functionally with legal, finance and government reporting to ensure alignment and monitor regulatory changes

Prepare and present contract performance reports for senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • BA or BS degree, and/or 3-5 years equivalent experience in contract management or contract administration
  • Experience:
    • Required: 3-5 years of experience in contract drafting, redlining and management experience within a Market Access and/or Distribution function; or similar experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to effectively define business issues and recommendations
  • Detail oriented with prior experience creating, deploying, and executing standard operating procedures
  • Highly skilled in influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and commercial teams
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Adaptive and motivated to build and lead while “rolling up their sleeves” to get it done

  • Preferred:
    • 5 years of experience in commercial functions within the biopharmaceutical, biotech, or similar industry
    • Start-up and launch experience a plus
    • Understanding of regulatory and legal requirements to pharmaceutical commercial operations
    • Living in EST time zone
