The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.
FP&A Financial support and partnering with BAE Systems SMS Executives, Strategic Business and Support Units that requires strong communications, financial reporting, analysis and presentation.
What You'll Do:
On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Full-Time Salary Range: $124080.000 - $210980.000
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

What You'll Do:
- Financial statement forecasts: income statement, balance sheet and cash flow.
- Cash management for SMS, a key interface with Inc Treasury.
- Financial reporting of programmatic buildup through consolidation tool.
- Support financial forecasts with recommendations and actionable information for key decision making.
- Provides timely and accurate financial results with data aggregation.
- Lead and participate in stakeholders meeting, which may include customers or auditors.
- Supervision, mentoring, delegation, prioritization, and tasking of Analysts work efforts.
- Provides trend analysis or other predictive measures of business performance to inform business decisions.
- Supports Risk department with financial analysis.
- Drive reporting efficiency and process automation through advanced knowledge of financial parameters with ability to synthesize key data, analysis and provide visualization.
- Provide solutions for unusual complex problems with a high degree of ingenuity and creativity. Challenges are frequently unique, and solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions.
- Operational efficiencies that reduce process and handling.
- Raise financial acumen through training and engagement.
- Liaison with Data Analytics: analytical tools development, administration, and report development to meet changing Business needs.
- Support preparation of Forward Pricing Rate Proposal (FPRP).
- Report indirect activity, re-computes indirect rates or other cost information including, but not limited to 3-Factor, cost of money, fringe, and intermediate pool allocations.
- May support disclosure statement(s) updates and cost impact assessments.
- Prepare and present pertinent financial information to an Executive level.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.

Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
- Bachelor's degree plus 10 or more years related experience.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master's Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Knowledge of overall financial and business functions, especially within an Aerospace company.
- Establish and maintain a network of key contacts.
- Affinity for financial tools and data extraction.
- Advanced ability to analyze data using financial tools and assess the reasons for a variance or trend with root cause understanding.
- Creativity with financial presentations with data visualization.
- Excellent communication skills are expected, both verbally and in writing.
- Highly analytical.
- Ability to multi-task with priority order discernment.
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective and professional working relationship with all internal and external customers, including DCMA and DCAA.
- Ability to inspire self and others, makes lasting connections and achieves results within a team environment.
- MBA, CMA or CPA
