The work of this team is fundamental to empowering developers to build great products that reach tens of millions of cardholders.

Able to self-edit and committed to document quality and a flawless user experience
Open to new and modern ways of constructing and delivering content

Strong grammarians who understand how sentence structure and word choice can clarify or obscure meaning
Happy to iterate and collaborate: draft, ask, test, fail, and improve
Curious about Capital One, platform products and documentation of best practices
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or military experience
At least 3 years experience writing documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
At least 1 year of experience working with GitHub or other version control and workflow management software
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience writing in Markdown
1+ years of experience working with an IDE or text editor (e.g., Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ)
5+ years of technical writing experience
1+ years of experience working in an Agile environment

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $128,300 - $146,400 for Manager, Process ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
