Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time Early Career Manufacturing Engineer for a position within the Aeronautics Business Area. Manufacturing Engineers provide support for all stages of a platform's program lifecycle. The Manufacturing Engineering (ME) discipline is consulted and responsible for manufacturing plan development, full-rate production standup and support, and post-delivery sustainment and modification activities. MEs are integral at every program stage for efficient and effective aircraft production.
This position will be embedded in detailed manufacturing plans, concepts, processes, and procedures. The day-to-day tasking will include working with design engineers and shop floor personnel to support production of our various platforms.

This position required a detail-oriented and organized candidate with demonstrated technical proficiency and capability. Strong communication skills - written and verbal - are required to successfully interface with various departments within Aero.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technology-related degree plan, e.g., Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering Technology, or Aeronautics Engineering Technology
* Other degrees within consideration include: Product Engineering and Assembly, Manufacturing Quality and Productivity, Manufacturing System Design, Process and Product Engineering, Materials and Manufacturing Processes, Manufacturing Process and Tool Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aero Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering
* Ability to work in a team environment demonstrated through organized group activities
* Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
Previous manufacturing/operations experience
* Desire to obtain an Operations role indicated by expressing interest in 'hands-on' applications of engineering and manufacturing principles
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
* Proficient with Microsoft Office
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
