Job Title: Raw MaterialsMaterial Handler
Location: Nampa, ID
This position is for C shift - Thursday through Saturday and E/O Wednesday from 7:00am - 7:00pm.
Job Summary:
TheRaw MaterialsMaterial Handleris responsible forthetimelymovement of all materials within a designated location.This position is also responsible for tracking movement of materials within the computerized systems to ensure proper inventory availability.
Position Responsibilities:

Operate a forklift to move raw materials, packaging, finished product and other materials from one location to another.
-
Use a computer and companysystemsto track all material movement transactions, both incoming and outgoing.
-
Observe all GMP, Food Safety, and Employee Safety requirements.
-
Load/unload53 foottrailers with a lift truckindoors and outdoors
-
Shipping and receiving of products and materials
-
Log incoming material and outgoing pallets into computer system
-
Recognize shortages of materials in the system and order materials for next shift
-
Staging and preparation of raw materials for use in operations.
-
Follow detailed processes for assigned work to ensure proper completion.
-
Must be able to work a minimum of 12 hours
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for an entire shift-12hours
-
Must be able tolift upto 40lbs.
-
Must be able to get on andoff ofa forklift in a safe manner multiple times per shift
-
Must be ableto tolerateclimate changes due to working in various temperatures indoors and outdoors.
Education:
-
High School diploma or GED equivalent
-
Technical / Trade School preferred
Experience:
-
Prior forklift/material handling experience in a manufacturing environment
-
Priorexperience working in the food industry ispreferred
Skills:
-
Strong attention to detail
-
Ability to communicate (verbal, read, write) effectively in English
-
Ability to plan work andanticipateproblems
-
Computer skills(data entry & experience with an ERP system in a production environment preferred)
-
Basic math skills, includingcompetency with weights and measures (must be able to take/record measurements and understand tare weight)
