A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Medical Lab Scientist.
Position type: Full-time Contract, potential contract to hire
Duration: 3+ months
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Shift : M-F 11am - 930pm (4 ten-hour shifts) and every 4th weekend 7AM - 7 PM

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Between $38.00/hr. to $40.97/hr.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

As a Medical Lab Scientist, your responsibilities:
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology or clinical laboratory science.
- Seeking a technologist with BSMT or BS in Bio or chem with 1 year experience, or MLS, or CLS. Open to 2-year MLT associates degree candidates.
- Florida med tech license
- Proficient in testing in all Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation
- BS in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science from an accredited college or university with at least 1 year of training or experience in specialty in which testing will be performed. Such training must be equivalent to that received in a school of Medical Technology OR -90 Semester hours from an accredited institution that include the following: 16 semester hours of Biology courses, 16 Semester ours of chemistry [must include at least 6 hours of inorganic Chemistry], and 3 Semester hours of Math- along with having completed an accredited Clinical Laboratory training program or 1 year of documented Clinical Laboratory
- Training, or experience in the specialty that testing is to be performed.
- Associate's degree in medical technology
