The National Technical Product Trainer is responsible for implementing learning solutions that lead to increased retail associate productivity, enhanced workforce, and organizational flexibility to meet customer expectations, increased talent reserves for continuing retail growth, and improved individual career development. In addition, the National Technical Product Trainer will assist in the development, implementation, delivery, and support of technical product training for the entire Renewal by Andersen portfolio of products and will ensure all training is consistently applied across all markets through various learning journeys. (In-person, virtual, podcasting and becoming an RbA Product Influencer.)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement technical product training across all areas of the Renewal by Andersen business. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of each location training program and provide training to location leaders as needed.
  • Utilizes advance facilitation skills to deliver dynamic, engaging, training interactions and anchors the acclimation of product knowledge (within onboarding, sales, marketing, operations, install, etc) while exceeding post training level one evaluation expectations.
  • Leads the organization in being the subject matter expert related to RbA's product, knowing how the product is made, features and benefits, and continually differentiates RbA from others.
  • Assists in creating learning strategies for the RbA Retail Network (all 100+ locations) that meets the learner when and how they want to learn while shifting the learner from being dependent to being inspired, engaged, and asking for more.
  • Uses RbA's Learning Management System to manage, track, and deliver learning interactions.
  • Acts as a coach and a diagnostic performance expert when helping increase team efficiencies.
  • Deploys programs that shares and highlights best practices leveraging the premise 'We are ONE network', inclusive of train the trainer.
  • Supports and understands instructional design methodology to deliver learning journeys and training content via in-person, virtual, e-Learning, micro-learnings and/or other approaches.

*       Assists in using Kirkpatrick's evaluation methodology within all learning strategies. Compiles monthly reporting on training program success.

DIRECTION OF OTHERS

  • May provide direction to others involved in collaborating on instructional design or those delivering training.
  • May provide direction and/or project management lead to external training vendors or curriculum developers.


  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, SKILL AND/OR COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent education and/or experience) in training, talent, or organizational development
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of broad business experience (including Renewal by Andersen products)
    including five years' experience in needs assessment and learning program design/development and three years' experience in organizational development interventions.
  • 3+ years' experience as an advance level facilitator
  • 3 years' experience in training and development with responsibility of product training or onboarding
  • 1 to 2 years' experience in instructional design methodology w/measurable results using the Kirkpatrick's level of assessment; has experience w/the ADDIE model or another approach related to training projects.
  • Proven success in using data analytics to drive business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated competency in instructional design, needs assessment, performance measurement and evaluation, process improvement, team and consulting skills, including experience with Learning Management Systems: publishing courses, managing and reconciliation of attendance, and deploying/standardizing communication strategies.

  • In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
