Full Job Description
Investment Bank located in Rockefeller Center, Manhattan is seeking to hire a Long-Term Temporary Office Manager to manage, direct and oversee their office move. This position will start ASAP for at least 3 months, requiring 5 days on-site from 9am-5pm. The ideal candidate has experience overseeing/managing an office move for a similar sized team (~30 people) and understands the detail-orientation needed to make the new office feel like home. This is a great opportunity to apply your organizational skillset to a new environment and ensure the move goes as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Pay rate up to $40/hour DOE.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for researching and hiring a moving company, and additional vendors as needed including cleaning staff
- Schedule and liaise with vendors
- Coordinate with building management and IT services
- Assist with packing up closets and cabinets, unpack and organize in new space
- Manage stock inventory and order supplies as needed
- Organize the kitchen and pantry in new space, ensuring snacks and refreshments are plentiful
- Create a warm and inviting space for the team
Qualifications:
- Proven experience overseeing/managing an office move
- Highly detail oriented with top-notch organizational skills
- Warm and friendly personality who takes pride in making spaces look neat and aesthetic
