As an Oilfield and Industrial Chemicals Lead Sales Specialist , you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategic and tactical sales plans that are aligned with business plan to deliver growth in upstream and downstream markets
  • Work with a diverse team of sales, service delivery, and commercial team members to expand Baker Hughes Oilfield and Industrial Chemicals market share.
  • Working in close collaboration with Global PL Headquarters (HQ), Global OFS HQ, and Region OFS Sales & Commercial teams, inclusive of market intelligence, early engagement, technical sales, equipment & channel sales, accounts, commercial operations, commercial pricing, commercial risk, and commercial contracts teams
  • Collaborating with key account or local/region account teams
  • Building relationships with key customers at both corporate and field facilities
  • Mentoring service delivery personnel for assigned customer account(s)
  • Applying or leading the application of innovative ideas and technologies to create a business or organizational advantage
  • Managing customer contracts to maximize profitability while monitoring and evaluating programs and expenditures

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Have a Bachelor's Degree or demonstrate equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years sales or chemical account management experience
  • Experience in commercial or sales role with good customer interface, relationship building, and a track record of delivering sales growth
  • Show comprehensive understanding of customer requirements and market conditions
  • Have an understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss and cash-flow management
