Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Packaging Engineer, level 2 or level 3, to provide support to our Ogden, Utah Sentinel Team.
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You'll Get To Do:
• CAD design of special packaging for program deliverables to endure proper transportability.
• This position will be a part of program design reviews.
• Work and collaborate with programs to review and buy off on Supplier Design Reviews (SDRLS) and final program Contract Designs Reviews (CDRL) and collection for delivery on schedule to the customer.
• Help train and interrupt Military Standards in accordance with contracts and compliance in packaging designs to the Military standards.
• Work with multiple engineering teams to collaborate on packaging and storage requirements and design at multiple locations.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
• Packaging Engineer: A Bachelors of Science degree with 2 years of experience, Or a Masters degree with 0 years of work related experience
• Principal Packaging Engineer: A Bachelors of Science degree with 5 years of experience, or a Masters degree with 3 years of experience
• U.S. Citizen with Active DoD Secret clearance
• Experience with CAD Design
• Must be able to read and interpret CDRLs
• Must be able to read, interpret and train personnel on Military Standards
Preferred Qualifications:
• Mechanical Engineering Degree
• ESD experience
• Tooling experience
• 3D CAD experience
• 2 years CPLM experience with full design review experience
• 4 years CAD design experience in packaging
• 2 years Military Standard Experience
Salary Range: $68,500 - $102,700
Salary Range 2: $84,200 - $126,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
