Cook Children's Medical Center - Prosper is actively seeking a full-time (.75 FTE) Pediatric Hospitalist pediatrician to join our new medical center in Prosper, Texas.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required.
• American Heart Association BLS
• Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date).
• Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics.
• Board certified/Board Eligible in their specialty area.

Our Prosper campus already includes primary and urgent care locations as well as a surgery center and endoscopy suite. The medical center, which opened in 2023, will make Cook Children's presence and excellence even more convenient to families in a growing part of our primary service area.

Key highlights:

• Joining more than 30 pediatricians and 18 specialty physicians who already support the Prosper campus.
• Collaborating with specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, neurology and neurosurgery, pulmonology, psychology, sports medicine and urology.
• New construction of a 10-bed Emergency Department, 10 pediatric intensive care beds, 14 medical/surgical beds, two operating rooms, two endoscopy suites, an infusion center and transport services via our Teddy Bear Transport program.
• Infrastructure in anticipation of future expansion, with the shell space of two floors to accommodate additional inpatient beds at the medical center.
