Job Description:
Power BI DeveloperLocation: fully remote
Duration: 6+ months
The Power BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role requires a deep understanding of data analysis, visualization, and reporting, as well as the ability to work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Create and maintain data models, DAX queries, and data transformations.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing data validation and quality checks.
- Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
- Experience with row level security.
- Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and industry trends.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for BI solutions, including data models, processes, and user guides.
Qualifications:
- Extensive work experience orBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI,Power Automate, including Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with onpremisesdata gateways.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the public sector or with government clients.
- Certification or extensive experience in Microsoft Power BI or related technologies.
