Fidelity Investments Agency Lending Chapter is seeking an experienced Principal Full Stack Engineer to join our team to develop and maintain complex applications that provide a rich set of functionalities and unified experience.
The Team supports the Agency Lending Product Area by driving a culture of good development practices, stability, resiliency & performance as a priority on equal footing with functionality through a defensive coding and proactive production management discipline leading to zero customer impacting incidents due to application scalability issues.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science / similar technical subject area and or equivalent experience
- Specialization in crafting and developing solutions with Java, Spring Boot
- Extensive experience with API design and building RESTful Webservices and Event-based systems
- Specialization in building Single Page Applications (SPAs) with Angular application component and module coding.
- Experience with AWS services such as EKS and good knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge about in Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting
- Experience with developing sophisticated Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline including software configuration management, test automation, version control, static code analysis.
- Test development and application performance testing using cypress, code quality and code quality using SonarQube and secure code validation with Veracode.
- Experience migrating legacy Angular applications to Angular is a plus
- Ability to learn and implement new technologies.
- Very high problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with global teams distributed across geographic locations.
- Partnering with other technology stakeholders to understand requirements to provide solutions and UX design.
- Designing scalable technical solutions, keeping in mind business requirements and architecture roadmap
- Executing Test Driven Design & Development in a CICD mode in support of DevOps
- Prioritizing and functioning in a fast-paced environment with focus on quality
- Willingness to seamlessly adapt to changing technology landscape
- Communicate effectively with extended teams
