Job Summary

The Data Services Product team plays a crucial role in defining and delivering valuable services related to data management on NetApp storage systems. This team is strategically positioned to address the essential needs of modern enterprises, such as investments in data governance, artificial intelligence, and regulatory compliance.

As a Principal Product Manager within this organization, you will be responsible for shaping and refining our comprehensive vision, strategy, and execution of these capabilities by collaborating closely with engineering teams across the company, as well as designers, marketing, sales, and field teams. If you are an experienced product manager with a hands-on approach, eager to learn and excel in a dynamic environment, and have experience in leading cross-organizational initiatives, we would be delighted to discuss this opportunity with you.

Job Requirements

  • Skilled in developing product vision, go-to-market strategies, and leading design conversations.
  • Strongly preferred: background in data management, compliance, security, or governance.
  • Proven leadership and influence over engineering teams across various organizations to achieve shared objectives.
  • Experience overseeing daily technical and design direction.
  • Passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences.
  • Thorough knowledge of public cloud environments and enterprise customer use cases.
  • Understanding of multiple areas including Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Customer Support, and Customer Success.
  • Capability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Successful track record in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
  • Focused on driving business growth and achieving tangible results.
  • Experienced in making data-driven decisions using large datasets, prioritizing product choices, and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education


* 10-12 years of product management experiencein Enterprise/B2B/Cloud technologies
*A Bachelor's or Master's in Engineering is required or equivalence

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is 209,160 - 294,030 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies. Benefits may vary by country and region, and further details will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
