Job Description
Our well-known client in the retail/fashion industry is looking for a Product Owner to assist their team for 9 months with the potential to extend.
The Product Owner is responsible for driving global product launch readiness through ownership of the PIM platform and related go-to-market processes. This role ensures product data accuracy, completeness, and governance while leading cross-functional coordination across merchandising, marketing, digital, operations, technology, and legal teams. The Product Owner serves as the primary business lead for the PIM platform, managing the roadmap, prioritizing enhancements, improving workflows, and driving adoption of scalable, system-driven processes that support successful product launches and ongoing product lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Product Information Management (PIM) platform, roadmap, and governance.
- Lead product launch readiness activities, ensuring product data quality and compliance.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to support successful product launches and ongoing product maintenance.
- Gather and translate business requirements into system enhancements and process improvements.
- Drive user adoption through training, documentation, and change management initiatives.
- Monitor platform performance, data quality, and operational effectiveness, implementing continuous improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Digital Commerce, Go-to-Market Operations, or a related field.
- Experience with New Product Introduction/Implementation processes.
- Experience working with Product Information Management (PIM) systems.
- Strong understanding of PIM platforms, data governance, and product data management.
- Experience with ecommerce, PLM, DAM, and work management/ticketing systems.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and workflows.
- Strong project management, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Data-driven mindset with strong attention to detail and quality.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
