Project Introduction

9th Way Insignia is looking for a Project Analyst to work with the Veterans Administration (VA) in support of the Veterans Administrations Corporate Program (VACORP) providing IT program management, product management, technical management, and detailed solutioning support.

Professional Level

A Project Analyst aligns within 9th way Insignia as a Consultant.  A Consultant completes tasks and projects of moderate scope and complexity.  A Consultant exercises best judgement and problem-solving skills within defined guidelines and practices to determine appropriate action to execute assignments. As a consultant, you may provide guidance and assistance to entry level professionals as well as offer support to other employees and customers.

 
Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Gather, analyze, and interpret data related to project performance.
    • Develop detailed project reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Project Planning and Support:
    • Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
    • Collaborate with project managers to develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
    • Track project progress and identify risks or issues.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Evaluate project workflows to identify opportunities for optimization.
    • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Act as a liaison between project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity.
    • Facilitate meetings and document key discussions, action items, and decisions.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
    • Maintain project documentation, including plans, schedules, and status reports.

Ensure projects adhere to regulatory or organizational compliance standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in project analysis or project management.
  • Journeyman level experience in MS Project and Jira
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

Preferred/Desired

  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement credentials are a plus.
  • Certified Scrum Master under the list of preferred certifications
Salary Range$47,794—$65,000 USD

9th Way Insignia’s range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law. 

Clearance/Background Investigation
