Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a 2025 Summer Quality Engineer Intern. In this role, you will support quality engineering operations efforts across the site in Pinellas Park, FL. The internship may involve assisting with quality engineering, data analysis, project planning and other areas to ensure manufacturing processes run smoothly. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of manufacturing, data analytics, and lean processes.

Must be a US Citizen; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications:
* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or industrial engineering.

Desired Skills:
* Prior experience with manufacturing industry preferred
* Demonstrated proficiency with MS office, Excel, and PowerPoint and strong data analysis skills
* Demonstrated knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and principles for process improvement.
* Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment
* Strong oral and written communication skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
