The Real Estate Associate will support the senior members of the leasing, acquisitions and development teams across Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico. Daily responsibilities include underwriting new acquisitions and development opportunities across all product types (office, mixed-use, industrial, retail) and submarkets. Assisting acquisition team with due diligence/closing and deposition responsibilities. Supporting tenant improvements for the office and industrial portfolio. Additionally assisting with property management administrative duties and any other tasks deemed by the senior members.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and assist in the development of ongoing portfolio construction and capital allocation efforts
- Financial modeling
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and other reports, including comprehensive financial analysis on existing portfolio companies
- Monitor and interpret market conditions, trends, and data to facilitate data-driven portfolio decisions
- Prepare market research for leasing team
- Aid leasing team in marketing efforts
- Draft documents (LOIs, commission invoices, etc.) for leasing team
- Perform other job duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong understanding of financial principles
- AZ Real Estate License
- Ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills, previous coding experience is beneficial
