Working Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm (Flexible)

Salary: GS-9 $62,358.00 - $81,065.00;
             GS-11 $75,448.00 - $98,079.00;

Full Performance Level: GS-13

Mission Statement:

The mission of the FBI is to protect the American People and uphold the Constitution of the United States.

Major Duties Serves as an advanced trainee performing a variety of developmental duties in support of the Division’s efforts to provide suitable, modern, safe, secure working environments/facilities and responsive high-quality facility support to the 56 field divisions and offsite facilities in order to enhance the FBI's ability to perform its mission. 

GS-09:

  • Acquires the knowledge of standard commercial real estate leasing practices and techniques to assist clients in developing space requirements, layouts, designs and timetables for build out of space with limited special needs, methods of real estate market research, advertisements for commercial office leases, development of full-service rental rates, calculation of amortization of tenant improvements and lease administration practices.
  • Acquires the knowledge of standard commercial or residential construction, maintenance and repair practices to assess the reasonableness of cost for routine construction, rehabilitation and repairs, or to evaluate routine work performed by management brokers and property management agents. Uses this knowledge to negotiate for services available through numerous sources.

Specialized Experience (SE):

GS-09: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-7 grade level. SE is defined as follows:

  • Experience with commercial or residential real estate leasing practices and techniques.
  • Experience with standard commercial or residential construction, maintenance and repair practices.
  • Experience with interpreting blueprints and design specifications. 
  • Experience with customer service to include written and verbal communications. 

Experience in the management of assigned real property programs and in resolving complex, sensitive and controversial issues in the areas of accountability, acquisition, management, and budget applying real property and real estate principles, laws, and policies.

GS-11: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level. SE is defined as follows:

  • Experience with commercial or residential project management. 
  • Experience giving presentations and briefings on all aspects of the projects, orchestrating design reviews, construction meetings and successful project close out.
