Requirements:
- This position is based in New York City. Candidate needs to live in the NYC Metro area.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
- 5+ years of sales management experience within the NYC SLED market, delivering large scale IT solutions: Infrastructure Modernization, Multi-Cloud Architecture, Security Transformation and Digital Strategies.
- A deep understanding and established relationships within the key vertical markets of NYC government and education specific to:
- NYC elected officials
- Mayoral agency’s and non-mayoral agencies
- SBS, M/WBE initiatives
- NYC Budgeting processes
- Government contracts
- Established relationships and a history of successfully collaborating with key OEMs such as Cisco, NetApp, Zscaler, AWS, and others.
- Proven history and ability to promote and sell a balanced portfolio of Product and Services in NYC.
- Proven experience in working and succeeding within a quota and commission structure.
- Experience managing and coaching a team of Sales professionals with a proven track record working with leadership and driving business strategies within the SLED sector is highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $175,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base salary.
