Job Description:
Our great client has an immediate REMOTE opening for a Vendor Management/ Sourcing Analyst. If you are interested please apply with resume to [email protected].Responsible for supporting technology strategic sourcing functions including vendor selection, cost and contract negotiations in support of technology. Responsible for partnering with Technology for developing savings project road maps, managing the RFx process, and managing assigned Technology suppliers and projects.
Sourcing
- Partner with internal stakeholders to establish goals and timelines for technology procurement activities.
- Lead cross-functional teams (including: Legal, Finance, Security, Service Delivery) to execute strategic sourcing contracts for assigned spend categories/partners.
- Develop and follow procedures for sourcing and evaluating vendors, products and services
- Conducts advanced analysis, leveraging third party and internal teams to assist/promote sourcing decisions
- Utilize a tracking system for negotiations and contract management.
- Monitor and evaluate vendor financial risk, commodity price trends and vendor competitive landscape so that contracts are executed for maximum benefit.
- Develop and execute RFx for assigned spend categories.
- Lead contract negotiations for software licensing, technology hardware and technology services including without limitation, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, Managed Services, and Cloud
- Utilize third party market data to determine fair and reasonable pricing.
- Leads project teams to participate in post-project audits to ensure the process is improved for the next project
- Supports and guides project teams through sourcing best practices and approaches to ensure standards and procedures are met
Vendor Management
- Prepare analyses and reports as required when evaluating vendors and proposals.
- Lead strategic planning of resource structure and risk management for current and potential vendors, products and services
- Resolve issues and disputes on product/service level of quality and delivery requirements, including SLA's and KPI's.
- Partner with internal stakeholders on supplier governance.
- May lead process improvement initiatives
- Ability to handle significant quantity of requirements simultaneously and to prioritize on key actions
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the potential to form positive relationships with both internal and external senior business partners.
- Ability to perform spend analysis and develop technology sourcing roadmap focused on cost savings, risk reduction, process improvement, and new opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis, research, industry trends, benchmarking, and best practices
- Problem Solving/Analysis - Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions; work well in group problem-solving situations; use reason even when dealing with emotional topics.
- Project Management - Develop project plans; coordinate projects; communicate changes and progress; complete projects on time and budget; manage project team activities.
- Great organizational skills/time management.
- Strong negotiation skills, critical thinking, great judgment and decision-making skills.
- Communication Proficiency, both written and verbal.
Liaison between technology and the business units providing operational support by tracking, validating and maintaining financial, third party and/or operational data. Verifies data and documentation compliance and assists business unit(s) in enhancing systems, processes, programs, data and reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- 3+ years of experience in related field
- Bachelors Degree
PREFERRED
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field
- Experience in retail purchasing environment
- Experience in Technology purchasing and contract management
- Strong negotiation and organizational skills
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills
- Ability to work autonomously and drive projects to completion
