About This Opportunity
The Senior Analyst, Electric Vehicle Chargering Financial Analyst will support EV business in the financial management of the EV charging business. This role will support the EV Team's overall financial reporting validating operation results including analyzing and executing 7-Eleven's electric vehicle charging retail P&L Financial EV reporting, utility accruals and EV Power BI Financial Management. This role will work with large data sets, including utility information and competitive intelligence, to review and report operational results.
- Support the 7-Eleven EV Team's overall financial accounting efforts regarding monthly P&L reporting, GL accounting, depreciation accounting and incentive accounting
- Ensure high data quality standards, and ensure proper accounting of EV incentives and credits within company financials
- Ensure Utility Accruals are properly accounted for so that utility actuals and charging revenue are properly accounted in appropriate month
- Ensure proper accruals and coding for EV Incentives and credits on P&L
- Education: Bachelors/4 year degree (Finance/Economics/Statistics/Mathematics/Engineering)
- Relevant Work Experience 8 years
- Experience (required): 3-5 years of data analytics experience, accounting, finance, OR a related field
- Experience (preferred): Experience working with accruals, P&L, Proformas, EV Financials
- Strong analytical and organizational skills using Excel and/or Google Sheets, Power BI, etc.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications and thorough working knowledge of database concepts and common applications.
