Our agency client is looking for a Senior Brand Designer!
This role is:
- Up to 40 hours/week
- Hybrid onsite in Richmond, VA. Preferred 3 days onsite (Tuesday - Thursday), but at least 1-2 days onsite.
- Contract-to-hire
- $40 - $50 per hour and annual salary between $80,000 - $90,000
The ideal candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in an agency setting as a Designer
- Experience in art direction or as an Art Director is a plus!
- Portfolio that demonstrates your expertise in comprehensive visual systems (i.e. logos, typography, photography approaches, design elements)
- Capability to identify industry trends and leverage them to help clients differentiate themselves from competitors
- Can translate their client's business goals, brand strategy and brand personality into comprehensive visual identities
- Interested in educating and advising clients, leading them through the design process, and improving their understanding of design principles.
- Experience developing a wide range of production-ready materials that are cohesive and complement one another
- PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite expertise
- Understanding of additional components of brand identity - i.e. sound, video and motion graphics to guide vendors in developing materials
- A willingness to sit alongside others and be adaptive at challenges / project hurdles that may arise
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt and adjust deliverables for changing client needs, project scope, etc.
Primary Responsibilities of a Senior Brand Designer include:
- Craft comprehensive visual systems for brand identities in both B2B and B2C industries. This includes visual identity audit and competitive analysis, creative concepting of logo design, and develop identity system elements.
- Apply visual identities to a diverse set of production-ready materials, including PowerPoint templates, trade show booths, digital content, printed materials, and more, for their clients.
- Assist teams in discovering innovative and engaging methods to communicate information to clients.
- Create materials for the agency's internal marketing efforts.
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
