Responsibilities
Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) Monitoring and Reporting
- Review Cloud Security Posture Management tooling and collaborate with Engineering and Development Teams to implement best-practices
- Align cloud environments with internal standards and compliance requirements
- Develop custom code and automate triage and response of security findings
Cloud Security Tooling Administration
Troubleshoot security service/application problems and work with the vendor and other internal staff to resolve them
Test, implement, and manage new security services as necessary
Detection and response
- Research and implement advanced detection and response tools within the cloud
- Act as an escalation point for the Security Operations team for security events within our cloud environments
Collaborate with internal teams to improve current cloud engineering practices
- Work closely with other IT and development teams to implement security best practices in their cloud environments
- Assist teams with evaluating current and planned architectures to align with security best practices
Cloud Security Documentation Development
- Develop best practices, documentation, and resource centers for staff
- Develop security runbooks and playbooks for incident response activities
Qualifications
- Working experience in AWS, Azure, and GCP
- Working experience in Information Security
- Experience interacting with cloud environments in a command line
- Familiar with application development concepts
Plusses
- CISSP, CSSP, or other relevant certifications
- Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)
- Experience with containers and orchestration tools
- Experience with python and PowerShell scripting
- Experience with SIEM technologies
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and 10 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required.
