About this role:
This position is responsible for cataloguing and inventorying Wells Fargo’s corporate art collection. The individual in this role will process incoming items, create receiving reports and photograph the object’s condition. This position will office at 114 North Beaumont Street in St. Louis, MO is required to be in the office 3 days a week. The Wells Fargo job profile is Senior Corporate Art Consultant.
In this role, you will:
Process incoming artworks including assessment, photographing, database management and identification
Support complex initiatives across teams to strategize, research and deliver artwork for projects
Participate in complex cross-functional groups to assess artwork plans for new projects, refurbishments and consolidations in buildings; manage delivery, installation, framing, etc. for those projects
Oversee artwork inventory and extraction projects
Identify collection needs and gaps to fulfill on artwork requests from across the footprint, including overseeing acquisitions and dispositions for the collection with a solid understanding of Heritage processes, procedures and compliance requirements
Prepare items for storage and apply appropriate preservation and rehousing methods
Manage and maintain collection storage facilities, the artwork database, and art reference library

Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Museum Curation or Art History experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
Experience applying collections management best practices in a corporate or museum setting
Experience with the various techniques needed to handle fragile and valuable objects
Experience working on large and/or complex projects involving corporate art collections
Experience building strong relationships and collaborating across large organizations
Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, and influences decision makers
