Full Job Description

Non-profit located in Greenwich Village, Manhattan is seeking to hire a Long-term Temporary Senior Coordinator, Mid-Level Giving to cover a leave absence supporting the Senior Manager and Director or the mid-level giving program. This position will start ASAP through the end of January, operating fully remote from 9am-5pm (35-hour week), Monday-Friday weekly. The ideal candidate has high emotional intelligence and excellent communication and writing skills. Pay rate up to $30/hour.

Essential Functions
  • Assist with all production functions related to direct mail campaigns (art/print review, data review, set-ups, etc.).
  • Assist with all production functions relating to email production (copy, audience review, testing).
  • Manage production schedules and contact calendars for mid-level campaigns.
  • Manage responses to Great Egret Society donor inbox and Insight Panel inquiries, escalate issues as needed.
  • Support the production of our monthly donor Insight Panel surveys.
  • Maintain and reconcile inventory for mid-level program.
  • Coordinate mid-level donor acknowledgements, including inventory tracking, data review and copy refreshes.
  • Provide administrative support, including tracking and processing invoices, and scheduling meetings.
  • Assist with special projects like Joint Cost Allocation.
  • Coordinate projects with several variables, delivering on budget and on time.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.



Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a closely related field preferred. Equivalent experience also considered.
  • At least 2-3years' administrative support experience; prior experience in a non-profit setting preferred but not required.
  • Detail oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks.
  • Experience managing relationships with agencies and outside partners preferred.
  • Ability to solve problems, meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and manage resources effectively is essential.
  • Proficiency in database usage-Salesforce and/or EveryAction is preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of the National Audubon Society.
  • Commitment to further Audubon's efforts to create a more equitable, diverse, and inclusive environment.
  • Previous non-profit experience preferred.
