In Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions, we provide next-generation threat detection and countermeasure solutions to provide unparalleled electronic warfare capabilities to enhance mission survivability. Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.
The duties assigned to this senior engineering position, will include the following:
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills * Design and development of IR technology hardware and systems (lasers, detection/imaging sensors, etc.)
* Design and development of motion systems including motors, encoders, controllers, laser diode drivers, airborne power systems* Experience with printed board assembly (PBA, PCB) design using Cadence tools
* Design experience with embedded processors, microcontrollers and VHDL-based FPGAs that provide capability and functionality to a larger system
* Familiarity with AS9145 compliant processes
* Experience with the design and development of IR technology hardware and systems (lasers, detectors/imaging sensors/etc.)
* Digital, Analog and Mixed Signal design and troubleshooting with an excellent working knowledge of common electronic circuits and components
* Demonstrated experience in Product/Factory Support of DoD military electronics/avionics equipment
* State-of-the-art electrical engineering design tools
* Design and manufacturing standards associated with complex multilayer CCAs
* Strong "hands-on" laboratory experience with instrumentation, equipment, and processes
* Working experience with Interface standards including military/avionics communication buses (i.e. RS-485, Mil-Std-1553B, Ethernet)
* Active DOD security clearance
* Design of digital hardware architectures that leverage embedded processors, microcontrollers, and VHDL based FPGAs that provide capability and functionality to a larger system
* Digital, Analog and Mixed Signal design and troubleshooting with an excellent working knowledge of common electronic circuits and components
* Demonstrated experience in Product/Factory Support of DoD military electronics/avionics equipment
* State-of-the-art electrical engineering design tools
* Design and manufacturing standards associated with complex multilayer CCAs
* Strong "hands-on" laboratory experience with instrumentation, equipment, and processes
* Working experience with Interface standards including military/avionics communication buses (i.e. RS-485, Mil-Std-1553B, Ethernet)
* Active DOD security clearance
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $92290 - $156860
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- Assist in translating system requirements into compliant complex printed board assembly designs.
- Technical trade studies, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, laboratory test and troubleshooting.
- Integrate Evaluate hardware module performance using simulation tools and prototype hardware in a Laboratory environment.
- Create design documentation, define and implement test procedures.
- Work with Parts Engineers to select and approve EEE components to meet program requirements.
- Work closely with PWB packaging and layout engineers.
- Other opportunities may consist of sustainment activities such as troubleshooting production units in need of repair, determining root cause on failures in the field, factory improvements, etc.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 4+ years experience
- Experience with product development and support of electronics equipment
- Solid fundamentals of digital/analog/power/mixed signal electronics and interface/communication standards
- Understanding of electronics manufacturing and test methodologies
- Experience developing compact embedded systems for harsh environments
- Familiar with electrical engineering design, schematic capture and analysis tools
- Hybrid to Start - Must be prepared to work Hybrid or onsite based on the needs
- Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance
