We are looking for a Senior Manager for our Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, skilled in managing detailed financials and driving strategic business decisions. This critical role will work cross-functionally across finance, operations, and IR, with a focus on driving business insights and analytics, forecasting and driving working capital outcomes.
Reporting to the Vice President, FP&A, this role will work regularly with senior management, finance teams, operations, marketing, product, and internal legal counsel. The Senior Manager FP&A, Corporate Finance is an influential leader in the global finance team, with the presence and understanding to enroll others, and the curiosity, acumen, and polish to build and maintain relationships at all levels, inside and outside the organization.
This position requires a self-starter, who can initiate and drive continuous improvement efforts to drive change through influence and pursue intellectual curiosities across our financials and business operations. We work in a fast-paced environment where keen attention to detail and the ability to work nimbly is crucial to success.
Essential Functions
- Partner with global Finance team and leaders in the organization to drive impact through P&L improvement projects, investment decision support, and KPI management.
- Collaborate with the operations organization to drive inventory forecasting and management outcomes, connecting the dots from operations through to the company cashflow.
- Drive working capital projects and outcomes.
- Ability to roll up sleeves, dig into the data, synthesize key findings, and present to all levels of executive leadership.
- Identify specific areas of continued performance improvement to pursue, with an internal consultant lens, and support execution through collaboration with cross functional leaders and teams.
- Provide strategic, financial, and overall business support to ad-hoc projects and recurring activities.
- Create models, analysis and presentations that condense complex topics into actionable information.
- Build & generate analysis from a variety of different data sources and functional groups on a global basis
- Overall Financial Health – ratio analysis and target setting, cost efficiency measures, rolling forecast, short-term and long-term scenario planning
- Collaborate with SharkNinja FP&A team, as a strategic partner within the company, bringing external knowledge and educational awareness of financial goals and areas of focus within the company
- Maintain and track comparable organization metrics and competitive intelligence including but not limited to, peers, customers, and other industry benchmarks
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Finance, or similar field
- Minimum of 6-8+ years of relevant work experience in Finance, at least 4 years with publicly traded company, and/or investment bank or fund
- Accounting background or experience preferred
- Robust quantitative skill set and an analytical, intellectually curious mindset that is both data-driven and experience-driven
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and cross functionally with various global teams
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage to tight deadlines, and maintain strong detail orientation
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills required, especially Excel and PowerPoint
