Schneider is seeking a Senior Operations Representative for our Cross Dock operations in Grapevine. You will be responsible for supporting and completing administrative processes and resolving process exceptions. Seek ways to improve the day-to-day processes, increase efficiencies, reduce waste, and value assets. Need to have the ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently such as hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklift.

Responsibilities:

Assign freight to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction & driver retention.
Ensure optimal utilization of driver capacity with customer load tenders.
Track down missing paperwork that delays load delivery and other basic load related. situations in a timely manner.
Identify and work with the leader to resolve potential customer service, cargo claim, maintenance, and equipment issues.

Skills and qualifications:

High School/GED or equivalent work experience.
Two plus years of relevant work experience.
Prior experience working in traffic office, warehouse, shipping, or receiving work.
Ability to use a hand truck and pallet jack as needed.
Ability to lift, move or carry up to 50 lbs. as needed to capture parcel ID information on freight.
Ability to accurately complete paperwork and input data into various internal or customer TMS systems.

Additional $1.25 per hour on second and third shift, $2.00 per hour on weekends.
